I’ve been blessed to experience a broad set of challenges & diverse experiences growing up & throughout my career. Born & raised on black angus cattle ranches in the Northwest & Montana, my parents then moved overseas when I was 9 to work for non-profits.
I grew up in Latin America, Africa, Asia, & the Middle East. My high school in Kenya was small (only 100 students), but we had 19 different nationalities! It taught me appreciation for diversity & the value of contrasting perspectives.
Experiences like this helped me quickly adapt, learn, and take on change successfully. I credit this multi-cultural education for my ability to quickly dive into complex technology projects, ‘translate’ between people in different functional roles to engage successfully with cross-functional stakeholders, & architect better solutions.
